Our website calculates the shipping charge based on weight, dimensions, zip code, and freight class. Our system communicates with multiple shipping carriers to determine the lowest rate available to your location including our volume discounts.
Most Items shipped leave our warehouse within 2 business days after all shipping information has been collected, and payment for your order has fully processed. If you MUST have an item within a specific time frame, please contact us prior to completing your purchase. We will do our best to help meet your deadlines however, Chefreco.com does not guarantee shipping times.
Our general local delivery extends from Beaufort SC, down to Brunswick GA and over to Statesboro GA. Please call Customer Service to set up local delivery. Chefreco.com will only arrange shipments within the contiguous United States. All items ship from our commercial warehouse in Savannah, GA, USA unless otherwise stated.
Chefreco.com offers free freight on some of our items as indicated when you place an order. This free shipping applies only to the 48 continental contiguous United States. Expedited shipping or shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or areas outside of the US will not qualify for free shipping.
For tracking purposes, Chef Reco only uses UPS Ground for small weight common shipping purposes. Chefreco.com provides tracking information upon shipment of your order. We will only send items via UPS on our account. If you wish to use a personal account to ship your items you must make ALL arrangements for pick-up, delivery and payment for the shipping portion of your order. Chefreco.com will not release any items for shipment until these items have been paid for and proof of payment for shipment has been presented to us.
Chef Reco uses an outside, third party for all freight shipping services. Our shipping quotes are for business dock-to-dock shipment only and do not include unload or any additional delivery service(s). If you wish to have additional services, there will be additional costs incurred prior to shipping.
All standard shipments are curbside delivery only, unless otherwise specified. The delivery driver will only drive the equipment to the property nearest the entrance. If you do not have a "semi-truck high" receiving dock, or own a forklift, you must request a lift-gate delivery service at the time of purchase. Lift-gate fees are not included in free shipping promotions and will incur an additional fee during the checkout process. A lift-gate will only lower the goods from the truck to the ground. You will be responsible for moving the merchandise from the ground into your building.
You will need to specify if you need a definitive delivery time scheduled. There will be an extra cost to schedule a specific delivery time.
Deliveries made to residential or limited access areas (church, school, library, construction site…) will incur additional shipping charges as well. It is the buyer’s responsibility to identify the shipping address as residential or limited access. Should the shipping information provided to Chefreco.com be incorrect, we reserve the right to back charge the purchaser upon receipt of the delivery charges.
We do not ship outside of the United States at this time. If you have a freight forwarder, we can work with you on shipping your desired products to them. Please note that we are unable to supply a freight forwarder for you.
Customers are welcome to pick up their orders from our Savannah, GA location. Payment must clear before order can be picked up. Chefreco.com’s staff is able to assist in loading. However, securing the load is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Chefreco.com assumes no liability or responsibility for damages that are a result of improper or inadequate securing.
REMEMBER: Items must be picked up within 5 business days. If you wish to pick your items up from our store, you MUST notify us IMMEDIATELY upon payment as we package and ship daily. We are not a public warehouse. Any items not picked up within 5 business days are subject to resale without refund.
Insurance is available for an additional fee. There may be additional charges for repackaging.
Equipment is sold FOB from our dock. Chefreco.com accepts no responsibility for the condition of the item once it has left our warehouse. All freight shipments arranged by Chefreco.com is for dock to dock service only.
If a shipment is refused without prior agreement, the buyer will be responsible for the cost of shipping both ways, as well as a 25% restocking fee. No exceptions will be made.
It is the buyer's responsibility to inspect all items for product shortage or damage immediately upon receipt. Buyer should open items at time of delivery and note any damage on the bill of lading prior to the driver leaving your facility. If shipping damage occurs, it is the sole responsibility of the buyer to file a claim with the carrier. Please note that these claims often take up to 120 days to resolve.
IMPORTANT NOTE: DAMAGE TO MERCHANDISE MUST BE DOCUMENTED WITH FREIGHT CARRIER BEFORE DEPARTING YOUR LOCATION AND IMMEDIATELY REPORTED TO FREIGHT CARRIER’S “CLAIMS DEPARTMENT”. CONCEALED DAMAGED CLAIMS (claims for damage not noted on the original freight bill at the time of delivery) WILL NOT BE HONORED.
